The 2015 HIV/STD Update is a collaboration of the Indiana University School of Medicine – Infectious Diseases Division, the Marion County Public Health Department’s Bell Flower Clinic, the IUPUI Center for HPV Research, the New York City STD/HIV Prevention Training Center and the Midwest AIDS Training + Education Center (MATEC) Indiana – a program of Eskenazi Health.

This conference provides a forum for healthcare professionals to learn about and discuss the management of HIV disease and sexually transmitted diseases, focusing on Advances in Care and Prevention.

Course Description:

The 2015 HIV/STD Update: Advances in Care is a daylong conference that brings nationally and locally recognized experts to discuss the latest in the diagnosis and treatment of HIV and STDs. This year’s conference will focus on new scientific knowledge and will offer opportunities for statewide networking. The overarching goal of this interdisciplinary conference is to provide an opportunity for healthcare providers to dialogue and share past successes, common concerns, and hopes for the future.

Target Audience:

Physicians, Nurses, Physician Assistants, Advanced Practice Nurses, Pharmacists, Mental Health Providers, Substance Abuse Professionals, Disease Intervention Specialists, Social Workers, Case Managers, and Public Health Professionals.
