This two-day conference, sponsored by the Indiana University School of Medicine Diversity Affairs is designed for nurses, physicians, physician assistants, psychologists, speech pathologists, social workers, and other allied health providers to help them understand the unique health considerations and barriers to health care in the transgender and LGBTQ populations.
The conference will be held at Goodman Hall, 355 West 16th Street, Indianapolis. Registration fees are $35 for one day, $50 for both days, and free for students and trainees. This conference qualifies for up to 15.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ through Indiana University School of Medicine, and 15.5 Category 1 Continuing Education Units for Social Workers, Clinical Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, Marriage and Family Therapy Associates, Mental Health Counselors, Mental Health Counselor Associates, Addiction Counselors, and Clinical Addiction Counselors through the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board.
